The 8th Conference on Protein Expression in Animal Cells will be held in Brazil at the Blue Tree resort (then, choose the Angra dos Reis location) near Rio de Janeiro on the Costa Verde. The resort is located in a beautiful bay, home to over 300 islands. Traveling from Rio de Janeiro is about 2 hours by bus and the conference will organize this transfer for participants.
Transportation
We will provide transfer from Rio to Angra on Sunday September 16.
Some buses will leave directly from the hotels in Copacabana where our guests will stay (you are expected to organize your own transportation from the airport to the hotel in Copacabana) and we will also organize transfer from the airport directly to Angra dos Reis on that same day.
You will be ask to provide us with your travel arrangements so that we can plan that service, We will also provide transportation back to Rio de Janeiro after the conference
Rio de Janeiro
The Conference has also organized the possibility of a 2 days stay in Rio de Janeiro in hotels where you will get to meet the other participants to the conference and visit this spectacular city. The detailed program will be available soon.
We have reserved a block of rooms in Rio de Janeiro on the few days preceding and following the Conference so that participants can have a chance to visit that great city. We will organize a visit of the city as well as some night time activities to discover the beauty and charm of Rio. The details of this program will be available in the spring of 2007.
