At the occasion of the 2nd International Symposium on Mesoporous Molecular Sieves (ISMMS2000) held in Québec City , the International Mesostructured Materials Association (IMMA) was created by a decision of the International Advisory Board of ISMMS2000 . In order to become a member of IMMA, people attending ISMMS2000 were requested to sign in. Over 100 persons took the personal decision to join the new association at that time. You may be interested to know that most of the main contributors to the development of the field of mesostructured materials have decided to join IMMA . The list includes such proeminent researchers as Professor G.D.Stucky, T.J.Pinnavaia, P.A.Jacobs, K.Balkus, R.Ryoo, G.Attard, A.Neimark, J.Ying, Dr.J.Vartuli, A.Stein, K.Kuroda, S.Inagaki , Th. Bein, G.Ozin and several others.

Since then, the membership has grown to well over 300.

If you wish to join IMMA you can do so by filling in the registration form and sending it back to Hospitalité-Québec (see instructions in the membership section). Registration is completely free of charge. By joining IMMA you will ensure that your name is on the mailing list of the futur meetings organized by the Association.
